Dear Readers,

So, it’s been a while since I’ve Tumbled but I have had a very busy well, not really, but a very how should I put it, boring but unmotivated summer. I guess I should fill you in on whats been happening in my life since the last time I wrote to you all (which was a very long time ago!) and fill you in on whats going on in my life right now!! :)

So, at the beginning of my summer I had an audition for Rob Patterson (if you don’t know him he is a Director/Producer for Rainbow Stage!!) and I was super excited! Now, I got the call two days before the actual audition so I was kinda flipping out a little bit but what ever a performer must be ready for these things on the spot all the time! So I performed an monologue I wrote for my drama exam and he said he really liked my acting. He said that there was a honesty and realism to my acting that he really liked. Now, this was a general audition so I was not auditioning for any one specific part in any particular show. They just wanted to see how I act for future reference so HOPEFULLY… you will see me in a MTC show very very soon! :)

The rest of my summer was pretty sad, like really all I did was sit at home and watch CSI marathons on Spike.. :P It was great. About the beginning of August I swear to you I could not wait to go back to school. Not that waisting away watching Kandee Johnson the make up artist videos on youtube wasn’t fun because it so was!! :) But it was just time to get back into the swing of things you know?

So, school is starting in a week and I went SHOPPING!! So much fun, then my friends and I went to Earls which was super fun!! We had a retarted waitress though, like actually she didn’t get anything right!! grr! So, then I slept over at my cousins, equally fun, hung out with Reid!!!! :)

So, now school has started, and I LOVE IT!!!!! Finally something to look forward to! My absolute favorite thing ever at the moment is Triple Threat, (for those who don’t know its a class where you do singing, dance, and acting) and I am so sore from Dance. I have it Mon, Wed, Fri in the mornings and Tues, and Thurs in class. I love love love love love it! Oh my god though, I have never gone through a more intense work out in my whole entire life. The ab workout we do is absolutely unreal. It’s like crunches for a solid 3 minutes, and not just your standard crunches, no we do crunches with our legs in the air, the bicycle legs all that jazz. It’s insanity and I am so sore it’s not even funny. I mean I hurt in places I didn’t know hurting was possible! In class we are doing Ballet and I LOVE IT! A lot of people are like OMG ballet I hate it but I don’t know what they’re talking about, it’s awesome! :)

The musical this year at Grant Park is going to be… 13 !!! I have wanted to do this musical for soooo long, well all summer, but still thats a long time! ahah, so anyways, I am super pumped. Naturally I want the female lead of Patrice. :) She is such an amazing character originally played by Allie Trimm, such an amazing singer! I love the character and could not imagine playing anyone else in that musical! Also, ensemble is starting Monday! I am in all 4 (Girls Pop, Mixed Musical Theatre, Gospel, and Classical.) they are at lunch, so I am really glad I have a spare before lunch so I get some time off!! Im really excited to get started.

JMTC started up just last saturday. We are doing the Lion King! I am so extremely excited you don’t even know. I want the part of Grown Up Nala, and Rafiki. Also I am doing all the make up for the show which is super exciting! I cant believe I get to do that! I just love make up and theater so the combination of the two is pure bliss for me! :)

DRAMA!!! OH what can I say about drama. We are doing the play The After Dinner Joke, by Carol Churchill and it is fabulous. We are doing it in Brechtian style and I love it more than words could explain! It is dry, slapstick, Monty Python esque humor and it is amazing. I want the part of Selby, but that is the lead (yet again, me being an over achiever:P) so it may go to an older student. That aside, auditions are this week sometime and ive got a sizable monologue to memorize so I really should get started on that! :)

As for everything else, there is nothing else. My life has been so busy since school started that Ive had like no time for anything else BUT I am going to METRIC !!!! The GC clan and I are going. OCTOBER 28 AND I CANT WAIT!!! But other than that nothing all that great has happened… :P

So, with that, you are completely up to speed with my life!!
